


So what we have here is the first photo with a third of the sculpture complete.
Up to this stage the timber has been cut, shaped, guide holes put in place, the hardwood has been heat treated, stained, the axel for the vintage pram wheels assembled and wireform rod embbeded into the necks to create the rabbit heads.
(and to think this all started with the hairbrained scheme of doing the entire body construct out of stitched felt, Ha..! silly woman) .
The silver wire pieces just near the wheel are to become the ears.... trust me
Second pic just the ears - wire has been shaped and wrapped - 1st baking with "ultralight" - then carved back , second layer with premo polymer mix, more pinching.
**** Notice the drawing on plywood next to the ears - this was the re-invented sketch when wood became the chosen base material .
