Large Photo - middle rabbit - stages of binding -newspaper, framingtape, acrylic stuffing, bind and knot strips of felt, wrap armature wire around head ,force the head into shape using pliers, attatch ears and wire in, more knotted felt strips, beging to bind with wool . tension must be mainted throughout process in order for the shape to hold- binding of each head will take approx five to six hours.
On the smaller photos the stages are clear. Notice the importance of the wire at the end of the ears. Major anchor point. The fox jaw that appears with the base rabbit is attatched onto the head purely through binding- wanted sinew feel
